pickThis book was good. Bittersweet, emotional, endearing and sad. Loved the sarcastic cat narration.
pickThis book was written in the 60‘s and you can tell, but it was still a lot of fun.
pickThis is a good introduction to Japanese horror and provided a lot of detail on the history of the cat myths as well as example stories. The illustrations were also nice.
3/5 read for good history of mythology but don‘t expect a lot of lyricism in the tales.

pickI was reminded of this book when reading The Museum of Words . I didn‘t know we had a copy. I mentioned it and it appeared from the depths of my partners study. The joy of this book for me are the illustrations. A story in themselves without the words. Not a childhood memory for me but I think it might be for lots of people as it was for Georgia Blain.

Huh, this cover was super cute and I didn‘t at all expect cat eating monsters. Um. Not sure how I feel about this one.
pickFinished up this book while watching March Madness. I enjoyed it a lot! A memoir about adopting a blind kitten and how the cat‘s spirit impacted her life/way of thinking. Definitely makes me appreciate my kitty all the more, especially given my Sammy is turning 16 in a couple months. Was a nice reminder to love him even in those moments of frustration
