What criteria do you use to recommend books? I just go by how great a read they are where I would put the on the best 100 list and what emotion I felt while reading the book … if it was a life lesson (or psychology) kind of book it would be harder aa those are included in the 100 list 🙌🏽📚😊📖

Monica5 I just recommend books that I like. I always say, 'If you like such and such genre, you ought to try this book or series'. 2mo
UwannaPublishme If it‘s someone I know really well or someone who is interested in the same authors or genres I read, I think it‘s a little easier to recommend books for them. We all have such different tastes! 2mo
Ddzmini @Monica5 and @UwannaPublishme I can see giving recommendations in that manner I always say my favorite but it‘s not always what the person may read 🙌🏽🤣 2mo

Karisa She‘s so cool! We watched the 60 Minutes interview of her a couple weeks ago and she‘s just amazing. I was tired just from listening to all she does! 😂 (edited) 6mo

This is a short novel in translation (from German) about an elder gentleman who delivers books to a fun cast of characters from a bookstore. He has literary nicknames for each of his customers, and little routines at each stop. It‘s mostly light and fun, though there is a bit of violence, check warnings if needed.

I‘m enjoying the return of my bee garden after a bit of rain and drop in temperature.

CatLass007 This looks like fun! 7mo

What a beautiful, heartwarming story. ?

Sometimes you just need a book that reminds you of the goodness in people and this book does just that. It's a fast moving story about a "book walker" who delivers books to customers and becomes friends with a young girl. And it's a bonus that there's a lot of talk about books in it. ?

I loved this one and it worked well as an audiobook.

Sweet found family story with books as a central theme. Easy listen. I‘d love to have Carl‘s occupation, “book walker”, but only on nice days. 😆

Here in NE, forecasted 98 and I promised daughter a horseback trail ride. 🥵

Cathythoughts Enjoy! I hope it cools down a bit. 🐴 (edited) 9mo
Tamra @Cathythoughts we aborted the ride. 😢 Just not enough shade to make it remotely comfortable. 9mo

My #bookspin for March, finished just in time. And I am not sure yet whether it was a bit too much or just right. But I think it‘s a book I should have read instead of listened too. It felt nice but something felt a bit superficial and I can‘t really point my finger to what it was.

Anna40 I loved your video! Fantastic recommendations. I‘ve not heard or ready any of the books. I love that you mentioned the translators as well! … I think you drive a boat but I‘m not sure either 🤓 14mo
