A tremendous book by one of my favorite authors of all time.

This book is only partially about an abortion that the romantic partner had, but there is also a lot of other stuff in there (I am actually personally pro-life, but that doesn't mean you can't read about it, because people have life experiences.)

Some very beautiful and extremely humorous stuff in here, as is the case with much Richard Brautigan.

SqueakyChu @Swe_Eva When I was in my 20s, I collected any book of his I could find. They‘re really still the only books I don‘t give away. It was just a “thing” with me. San Francisco, hippies, youth, freedom of expression... You know! 😃 5y

SqueakyChu @Swe_Eva Trout Fishing in America (probably his best known book) was the only book of his I couldn‘t really get into. I don‘t think I ever finished it. Read this fun book instead:

I know. A blast from the past. It‘s been years since I read a book by Richard Brautigan, but I thought it‘d be fun to read one of his books again. I never read all of the ones I collected over the years because I didn‘t want to not be able to read more of his books in the future after his tragic #suicide.
