The stories in this were a bit hard to follow sometimes because they kept jumping back in forth between timeliness and different narrators, but it was undeniably entertaining. There's a lot going on here with appearances from Namor, Iron Man, Kilmonger, and Storm, to name a few. Wakanda Forever 🖤

This had a bit more of a complex storyline than the last one (probably because it was written by Ta-Nehisi Coates 😏) but not overly so. The illustrations were absolutely beautiful and it was good to get a bit of a backstory for Aneka, a character who will be played by the lovely Michaela Cole in the upcoming movie 🥰

This book was not for me. The writing was fine, Stone captures the voice of Shuri from the movie, I just couldn‘t get invested in the story. Maybe another time? #authoramonth @Soubhiville

Soubhiville Great cover art though! 4w

This book, for me at least, was a slight improvement on the series that I've read so far. There were less leaps and presumed knowledge, but still a lot of room for improvement. Maybe it was down to the fact that it was focused on the story of Black Panther, rather than jumping perspective every 5 minutes.

It was a move in the right direction and a very enjoyable read....

TCLinrow but I would still say it's better for people already familiar with the Marvel Universe 2y

I really liked this Shuri collection, although I do wish Shuri had perhaps worked a little more persistently to find the missing T'Challa. (Also, the art is not stellar.) However, we got a scene where Shuri works on some inventions with Rocket, and so it is all worth it.

(quarantine book #97; read an own voices book)
