In September it felt like I wouldn't complete any of my reading goals for 2017. I don't know what I did to kick things into gear but something worked. I surpassed my #Goodreads goal, & completed #2017ReadHarderChallenge , #2017LitsyAtoZ , #2017LRC + a few others that I could knock out with crossovers from these 4. Color me shocked!!

Finished @bookriot #2017readharderchallenge last night when I finished my last task with "Wonder": read a book you've read before. Can't wait for the next one!! Now I need to move onto another reading challenge. Any suggestions??

Re-read this gem tonight and gave me all the feels. Such a heart-warming book. Perfect quick read, after an emotional ride with "Unbroken". ❤️

Finally started this after being on my TBR for so long. And I get to use my new bookmark I got in Lisbon! 😍

Beautiful, quick read about self-discovery and love in all its forms. So happy I read this for #bookriot #2017readharderchallenge. I love that this challenge allows me to go beyond my comfort zone and explore new books and genres.

Lunchtime reading 📖 for #bookriot #2017readharderchallenge

I love that after I can read this with my mom. Korean is her first language and English is mine, so it's great that we can both enjoy this together. I do have to say that the English translation doesn't 100% capture the beauty and essence of its original Korean script. Still, very lovely, indeed. #poetry

Sons and Lovers | David Herbert Lawrence

This is only the second D.H. Lawrence book I've read. I'm a latecomer but I love his books. The family dynamic he depicts in this one-- a woman in an unhappy marriage forms deep (and dysfunctional) bonds with her sons-- felt completely real and true. His characters have their selfishness and self-destructive tendencies but are always human and sympathetic in the end. This book works for a "banned book" in #2017ReadHarderChallenge.

#2017readharderchallenge task: debut novel. Interesting take on a post apocalyptic society. Great read!
