pickI didn't realize Freida McFadden wrote funny books, until I came across this audiobook on Libby. It was a funny, light-hearted listen. While I did like it, it was a totally different book then what I am used to reading from her. 3⭐

Waiting for that a ha moment none … there is a second book. I enjoy her books and enjoyed this …. I‘m in medical field and can relate! 12/23. 7/10 lol so far next sequel!
pickMcFadden is a physician, so it‘s likely that the situations in the novel are based on her own career. The MC, Dr. Jane McGill, is in her first month as hospital intern. The “devil” is her senior resident, Dr. Alyssa Morgan who is not only a grouch, but chastises Jane constantly for minor details…some of it is LOL funny with Jane‘s inner monologue. Book 1 of 2.
