so-soOh DJ. When I read the first two books, I had a lot of thoughts about how she was getting so screwed over. In this one, she steps up about many things, and so do various family members. And also, the book is homophobic, racist, and fatphobic, and that is incredibly disappointing. It‘s also 10 years old, which, uh, DEEP in the TBR pile! Anyway. I mean, good to complete the trilogy, and I do not care for the Schenks.
One of the faster ones on my TBR pile, which I‘m trying to break down a little even though this is library book month. I know! When I finish this, I‘ll donate it to the library for a library book sale and then it‘ll be a library book. 😂 Anyway, I like this YA series (so far) and we‘ll see if I like this entry in it.
pickI'm commited to this series now, despite how much I don't like the covers. DJ is one of my favorite book characters. She's so funny and relatable.
