I don‘t know why but this one was a slog for me to get through. I was never too excited to return to after putting it away. It just seemed so slow! The MMC is autistic, and I do appreciate the representation. It was handled really well!

I was so excited to read this but I couldn‘t bring myself to finish it. All the interactions felt weird and the relationship didn‘t really make sense even for an enemies to lovers romance. I tried to ignore the generally weak world building but the combination of poor world building, weird character dynamics, and major continuity issues was too much for me to enjoy reading this.

There‘s Pumpkin About You is a wonderfully romantic read that highlights the emotional journey of finding yourself and connecting with your person. Athena Carstairs strikes a beautiful balance between cozy charm and heartfelt depth, making this story both fun and profoundly resonant.

The grumpy male main character is autistic, and his neurodivergence is portrayed with care and authenticity—not as a plot device, but as meaningful representation.

This was a cute fall romance!

The set up is not the greatest and is the weakest part of the book. The party at the pumpkin farm and fixing up the barn premise didn‘t quite work. But since this is a romance I just rolled with it. The book is also a bit of a slow burn.

The two leads were cute together. I loved seeing their relationship slowly develop.
