Today‘s #bookmail from BN (bottom left) and Bookshop.org for the rest. I may have had to sneak the boxes into the house so hubby didn‘t see them, as this may have been the third and fourth book packages this week… The bottom two are for kiddo, and the top two (the skinny ones) are mine.

I may also have several preorders filtering in over the rest of the year. And a sizable order from Book Outlet shipping soon. I really shouldn‘t be unsupervised.

Kenyazero looks like an excellent selection! 🤩 2d

Pickpick

I liked this a lot. There's a lot going on here as we have 5 MCs and the author hits a lot of the main plot points for each of them on their way to finding love with their correct, Austen-ordained, match. This is like a love letter to Austen fans and was a fun read but I wonder if it would work for readers who aren't familiar with all the original books.

#WhereAreYouMonday

I'm at Mansfield Park, a very exclusive resort in Kentucky, where the Austen sisters- Elinor, Elizabeth, Anne, Emma, and Catherine- are bridesmaids for their cousin Fanny's wedding to Edmund.
I'm enjoying it so far but I do find it weird that Edmund's groomsmen are Knightley... and Willoughby, Wickham, Thorpe, and Elliot! 🤯 They have to be included somehow, obvi, but how could they be such friends of Edmund?? 🤔
@Cupcake12

bookandbedandtea I forgot Frank Churchill! He's a groomsman too. No sign of Henry Crawford yet. Darcy, Tilney, and Edward have been mentioned but not Wentworth- tho Anne's melancholy and regret about a past event have been touched on a well as tons of other 2ndary characters. 😁 2w
