I definitely feel this way about my #bed (and my couch).😉

I almost passed on this, loaned by a friend, as the description didn't immediately grab me. Boy am I glad I gave it a go. I whipped through this touching, very human and believable story about a woman whose husband is in a coma after a freak accident. The writing was truly lovely, the characters all well-drawn and entertaining, and it had so, so much heart. I'm usually not big on 'touching drama', but the writing here pulled me in and held me.

And they certainly couldn't do a worse job 😢

I almost skipped this loaner from a friend, as there are so many books I can‘t wait to get to on my TBR. I‘m so glad I didn‘t - it‘s a quick, beautifully written, moving read so far!

I am moving soon and I have to put most of my books into storage for an indefinite amount of time and it feels like an #impossible task to pick the very few that will travel with me!!! #lyricalapril

First read this novel 21 years ago - loved it even more this time around! Perhaps because I'm older and wiser now, I was able to appreciate it more...?

I think I am like Lainey – I notice and revel in the little details of life. I'm glad of that; I would hate to be distracted from these inconsequential beauties of everyday life...
