Bailedbailed

Both of these were #blameitonlitsy and I do think I would have enjoyed each if I were in the mood.
I got halfway through Mayflies and didn‘t feel a connection to the characters so I let that one go. Old Flame — I was only 8% in when I decided I wasn‘t in the mood for it. Plus, I read some reviews that said it was too long.

CBee I couldn‘t get into Mayflies either 🤷🏻‍♀️ 2y
Chelsea.Poole @CBee everyone seems to love it! Glad to hear I‘m not alone! 2y
CBee @Chelsea.Poole I figure if I‘m still not interested after the first chapter or so, it isn‘t worth it! 2y
Megabooks Too bad! I really enjoy Old Flame! 2y
Chelsea.Poole @Megabooks — it was on my list thanks to you! it‘s definitely me and not the book. I may try it again sometime 😊 (edited) 2y

Pickpick

This was #GoodNotGreat but I definitely was drawn to the story of a young woman trying to make sense of her past & future. A book that questions all the components of being a woman and what one is willing to sacrifice. Interesting insight and perspectives. Also big NOD to Molly Prentiss for PERFECTLY describing Macy‘s Herald Square without mentioning the store name. Enjoyed narration 💜
