Here‘s how I did on my August #readyourkindle picks. I read the Agatha Christie book this month for #christiescapers and I read 1 of the digital ARCs I had on my list this month.

Here‘s how I did on my #readyourkindle list for August. I read Sherlock Holmes for the #noplacelikeholmes buddy read, read the Agatha Christie book I needed to read for the #christiescapers buddy. I had 7 digital ARCs on my list this month and I read 5 of them.
My #ReadYourKindle books for July. Two international Bookers and two crime novels! And both crime novels are the first in a very long series 😅 I think I'll aim for one crime one Booker and then see where the month is at. (Meanwhile I am also reading all those massive Cosmere books on my Kindle, so it is getting a workout 😂)
I see that on the Kindle app, you can now buy ebooks. Everyone has been telling Amazon they wanted the option to buy books on the Kindle app. What‘s the point of this when you still have to go to the website to complete your purchase? I would rather just buy ebooks on the website since it‘s going to make you go to the website anyway.
I like having multiple books available, highlighting quotes, and looking up unfamiliar terms. I‘m told I need more books in my device.
I like holding a book in my hands, playing with bookmarks, and searching through bookstores. I like talking to people about what I‘m reading or what they‘re reading.
I like listening to books while driving or walking or doing chores. I like hearing special accents and little extras.
