I loved the cannabis cafe angle - it brought a unique twist to the culinary cozy mystery genre. I wish I could visit in real life! The mystery seemed cheesy and juvenile to me, though. It was at least a quick read and I liked that there are recipes included. #Aardvark #AardvarkBookClub

This was a fun start to a new series; I found the cannabis aspect refreshingly new. Our MC was fun and her family was just lovely. The mystery wasn't as strong as it could have been, but I look forward to reading more in the series and seeing if things pick up.

I read this to review, so won‘t say much…. But I love the premise of this cozy mystery: Paris-trained pastry chef returns to small coastal hometown to open a cannabis cafe, and try to solve a murder too. Oh, and there‘s a cute single guy next door too. Publishes in February!
