Isha has spent the last year watching his BFF get his happily-ever-after. He's proud of Dom, but...it hurts to see him so free while Isha's love life is still on lockdown. Only Isha's ex-wife knows the secret that he's kept caged for so long-that he's queer too, and he's lonely.Jude's too chained to his work to notice what he's missing by being terminally single, but a new face in the village soon catches his attention. City boy Isha is gorgeous, and when he starts to haunt Jude's reptile shop as well as the hook-up app on his phone, he's a welcome distraction from Jude's business problems. For a control freak like Isha, letting Jude under his skin is an existential meltdown, but Jude's not in the market to be anyone's queer crisis, not when he's facing troubles of his own. Unlocking their lives could push both men apart forever, but it might be a risk worth taking if sharing is the key to their happy future.

Rain‘s pouring down again, so I‘m gonna spend my day sewing, staring at Casey‘s adorable face, and reading. JUDE‘s off to a great start. I can see why Kobo thought I should read it (though I‘m sure they would‘ve preferred I buy it through them instead of borrowing it during a shelf-browse at the library). #gaymay

#gaymay five ⭐️. All the swoonies 😍and a basket of spice!! 🌶 As an American, the audio accents were hard to navigate, so I preferred the ebook in this case.

Thanks for the tag @chasjjlee I am just getting into the book Jude by Garrett Leigh. It‘s an e-book, like 99.99% of what I read! It‘s a five star ⭐️ rating so far!!! I almost never highlight unless it‘s for #firstlinefridays

First library run since I got my bike! First trip anywhere since I thrifted this sweet rear basket. I think it started life as part of a modular closet system, but it fits perfectly and it was $3 instead of the $40+ actual bike baskets cost so I‘m super happy with it.

I went in for the two hardcovers (further Gay May holds) and grabbed the tagged book on a whim because Kobo keeps recommending it to me. #gaymay

TheIntrovertedDodoBird @xicanti Looooove your bike ♡. Cold by Mariko Tamaki caught my eye. What did you think about it? Is it worth a read? ♡ X 13mo
xicanti @TheIntrovertedDodoBird thanks! My bike‘s acquired rainbow streamers on the rear basket since this photo was taken, too. Re: COLD: I found it a very fast, evocative read that was tough to put down once I picked it up, but it hasn‘t stuck with me as one of the greater YA mysteries. (edited) 13mo
TheIntrovertedDodoBird @xicanti Your rainbow streamers must look AMAZING 🌈. Thank you. I'll add it to my TRP then. My interest has piqued now. I always love LGBTQIA+ recommendations! X 13mo
