so-soI was not familiar with Tunde Oyrneyin before I listened to her book. I was pulled in by her gorgeous cover and gave it a try. She's inspiring and frank. I appreciate that; however, her story was a little boring. Overall, not a bad read. I kinda enjoyed it.

pickRead as part of the leadership series I‘m leading at work & I don‘t know that I would have picked it up otherwise because I had no idea who Tunde Oyeneyin is (the answer is a motivational speaker & Peloton Instructor). But this book turned out to be a pleasant surprise & very relatable. Tunde talks about her journey to find her voice with tips on surrender, power, empathy, authenticity & knowledge (SPEAK) & is very inspirational. I both read & ⬇️
I made my #bookspinbingo pile today, lots of romance books in there, since May is my anniversary month! We are going on a cruise for 8 days, so I‘m hoping to get lots of reading done and the plane and on the days at sea!
pickI liked it and some parts were better than others. Interesting, but not necessarily wowed by it either. Think it might speak more powerfully to a different audience. Glad I tried it though.
