Finally got this. But the antis responded, of course, with a book that looks like this but it‘s the opposite. Fucking assholes. This book is so needed!

Check out The Abortion Project for the incredible work they‘re doing. They document at home abortion experiences with photos with/for anyone who wants to share. It‘s a powerful way to bust stigma.

They also have an Instagram: https://instagram.com/theabortionproject?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

JenniferEgnor Talking about abortion is the only way we destigmatize it!!! It is normal. It is healthcare. It saves lives. I‘m one of those peoplx whose life it would save! Over 60% of peoplx who have abortions, are already parenting. Abortion is a personal choice, a loving choice. Love for the families that already exist, and self-love too. Self-care. Don‘t be afraid to talk to your kids about abortion. It‘s not some scary subject; jump in with love! 2y

I don‘t know if this picture book on abortion has been banned or challenged yet, but considering the waves it‘s made in the year since being published (and the current political climate) I can guarantee it will be. It was written and illustrated by two abortion doulas, and it does a great job of introducing the subject to young readers using simple, factual and compassionate language. #BBRCPictureBookLetterW @LibrarianRyan

LibrarianRyan No idea this existed. Interesting. 2y
IndoorDame @LibrarianRyan I was really excited when I found it. An article I read quoted the creators saying they wrote it when they realized that the stigma around abortion still kept people from talking to kids about it. It definitely lived up to my expectations. 2y
