pickI don‘t know if this picture book on abortion has been banned or challenged yet, but considering the waves it‘s made in the year since being published (and the current political climate) I can guarantee it will be. It was written and illustrated by two abortion doulas, and it does a great job of introducing the subject to young readers using simple, factual and compassionate language. #BBRCPictureBookLetterW @LibrarianRyan

IndoorDame @LibrarianRyan I was really excited when I found it. An article I read quoted the creators saying they wrote it when they realized that the stigma around abortion still kept people from talking to kids about it. It definitely lived up to my expectations. 2y
