Well that was a dark and twisted read. Its a very slow start though so you do have to stick with it to get to the really good parts. Once it gets going, you're quickly drawn into the story. The ending is bittersweet and a little sad but it does fit with the tone of the story. There are a few twists along the way, Some I figured out like why Joel was so interested but Maggie's part was clever. A dark twisted tale. #Netgalley 3*

What can I say?! When I started this book I was thinking, this isn't really a thriller, it's a lady going for a job interview, what can be suspenseful about that?! I was so wrong! Once things started to seem eerie and not quite right I was hooked, it took me to unexpected places and played with my mind. An excellent read.⭐⭐⭐⭐ #cmewan #theinterview #goodreads #litsy #tea_sipping_bookworm #thestorygraph #amazonaustralia #amazonkindle #bookstagram

Wow, what a gripping read! It is written via two viewpoints; Kate & Joel, & the chapters are fairly short which adds to the tension. I found the ending a little rushed as the momentum was difficult to keep up. I thought it was mostly an electrifying read though. 4🌟

CW: Violence, kidnapping./confinement, physical & mental torture.

My thanks to NetGalley & publishers, Pan Macmillan, for the opportunity to read an ARC.
