pickThis is the best arc of Monstress yet with tons of narrative and thematic payoffs. There are so many characters and factions that it took me about 30 issues to really know what's going on. Maika is an iconic character, but Kippa, Corvin, Tuya and the rest of the supporting cast is also great.

We finally learn quite a bit about who Zinn is and things that happened in the past. It ends on a big cliffhanger and I was excited that I already had the next volume so I didn't have to wait.
As always, the artwork is stunning.

Kippa is one of my favorite characters in this series. The drawings of her and her sister are so cute that it‘s easy to forget that they are in a refugee camp.
