This was a great quick afternoon read! Just as cute as I hoped. Willow and her parents move into a haunted house, and Willow is determined to stay there, because with both parents in the military she‘s already moved way too many times. The ghosts have other ideas. I love how much fun this book had with tropes—the two elderly sisters who never left the house, the black widow (maybe), and the WWI soldier. Willow‘s parents have a lot to deal with!

After a fun but exhausting day (last day of the Renaissance Festival this year!), I think a cute, spooky read on the couch will be just the thing.

The best word I can think of is “adorable.” Gladys, Viola, Lady, and Thomas were wonderful ghosts. Thomas and his love of reading romances was particularly endearing. Liked how Willow refused to be intimidated by the ghosts in her new home, even the dark spirit that morphed into a cat. 😂

Adorable! This book made me smile throughout, and the characters were all fun. This middle grade comic is the story of a girl who wants a place to call home, but she has to convince the ghosts who already inhabit her new house to let her stay. I absolutely loved that the story is followed by a thorough lesson plan complete with learning outcome standards and discussion questions. #comic #ghost

99% sure this ghost hunting duo at the opening to this comic is a reference to Ghost Adventures. I‘ll admit to enjoying that show even though it was (is?) terrible (it had a lot going for it) and I always laughed at how much they said “dude” and “bro” and “DudeBro” (I couldn‘t fit it in this screenshot but the very next frame has a dude bro in it)😂 #Ghost #Comic #Reference

Loved this story - the girl is determined to live in one place but the ghostly residents less keen. The characters are all really engaging and the illustrations are lovely. Totally want to read more about these characters- though the book is a complete story arc and works really well as a one-off.
