THEY’RE NOT OUT OF THE WOODS QUITE YET! That’s before a super gross, and seemingly-sentient creeping vine starts popping up everywhere and scooping ‘Janes up! And then there’s Rosie’s best friend from long ago: the elegant and enigmatic Abigail, who’s appeared out of the woodwork to join forces with the Lumberjanes once more! The team of Kat Leyh, Shannon Watters and Kanesha C. Bryant send the ‘Janes on their most surprising adventure yet in the next volume of the New York Times best-selling phenomenon. Collects Lumberjanes #69-72.

Not exactly crushing my #bookspinbingo reading goals. Lumberjanes was stellar, as usual.

TheAromaofBooks Yay!! Still great progress!!! 3y
ErikaB @TheAromaofBooks Thank you! I‘m still finalizing my July list so I‘m not giving up yet. 3y
TheAromaofBooks Everyone reads at a different pace & has different challenges in their lives. 😊 I have a few people who make their bingo board quarterly & try to score a bingo or clear their board in that time period instead of monthly. Make the challenge work for you!! 3y
ErikaB @TheAromaofBooks One of the things I like most about the challenge is how adaptable it is for everyone. I tend to be a bit more ambitious with my reading goals in the summer, but I may go bimonthly or quarterly once fall rolls around. I think some of my favorite parts are finalizing my list and creating the bingo card, so I may just have to accept that I‘ll only get a few titles read but the whole exercise is relaxing for me! 3y
TheAromaofBooks I always have a great time setting up my board, but for instance this month I have so far read ZERO books from my list! 😂 3y

A fun graphic novel for the weekend. It feels like summer is coming to an end thgough and that makes me sad.

One of my favourite graphic novel series is Lumberjanes. I see it as one long book at this point instead as individual volumes. And, it is just fun. There are some volumes that I like more than others, but as they have blended together into one long story for me, I never remember what ones I liked less anyway. All I do is about once a year, I read the individual issues to catch up on the collected editions. So fun!

The Lumberjanes were super adorable in this one. Plus, it tells the origins of the camp, which was definitely interesting.
