so-soThis was good, but maybe not quite as good as many of Grisham‘s others. I think it was a bit slower. There were sort of two parts to it: the legal case being made and the pro/con death penalty, but also the story of a family with secrets, as Adam and Sam (and Adam and his aunt, Sam‘s daughter) get to know each other. I thought about upping my rating just a little at the end, but decided I‘d stick with how I felt through the majority of the book
Grisham's books are usually riddled with a bunch of #workaholics, fighting wrongs (or creating them) in the name of the legal system. #jubilantjuly
pickThis is a book everyone should read. For me, it wasn't just a book, it was an experience that will stay with me forever.
pickThis was my view as I finished The Chamber for the second time! It's not only another masterpiece by Grisham, but it is a thought provoking look at issues of morality, guilt, innocence, race and family! It is an AMAZING read! Thanks @Human_Laurel_Tree for buying it for me!
