5 posts
The Webinar Manifesto The Special Interactive Edition delivers the 7 fundamental strategies needed to captivate any audience. These strategies transform the webinar experience as they teach you how to get the most out of your technology without compromising design and value. This Special Interactive Edition avoids all the missteps of traditional how-to books by focusing primarily on the principles and behaviors, rather than the tactics. It is these values that are necessary for webinars across to reach their full potential.

#JumpIntoJanuary Day 27: I now feel a sense of #SweetRelease that Day 1 of the International Graduate Studies Seminar I have spearheaded for my institution along with colleagues from Education University of Hong Kong and University of Helsinki is now done. Tomorrow, I can just enjoy attending the events hosted by EduHK and Day 3 hosted by Finland. Whew! Happy to have our senior leadership team attend the event to welcome over 100 attendees.

#InspiredNewYear Day 12: It is difficult to #create much less organize webinars for graduate students during this period, but we try. I am co-organizing this event with colleagues from Education University of Hong Kong and University of Helsinki. Here is the website for the event: https://conferences.uaeu.ac.ae/igss/en/index.shtml - it‘s absolutely free so please register if you are interested! #TeachersOfLitsy

TheKidUpstairs I'm amazed and inspired by all that teachers have been able to innovate and accomplish during these times! 3y

#WordsOfOctober Day 16: Today was an #Extraordinary day of webinars - from my keynote in Indonesia this morning to the panel webinar I moderated this evening with brilliant colleagues: a sociolinguist from UCL, a social studies professor and Associate Dean from NIE Singapore, and a brilliant geographer from University of the Philippines. The super enthusiastic responses from my colleagues show that this has been an #extraordinary panel indeed.

#WordsOfOctober Day 15: Bright and #Vivid faces of international colleagues from University of Helsinki, Education University of Hong Kong, and myself from UAE University, planning an international research seminar for our graduate students. One of my PhD students is with us to help document all our weekly meetings to prepare for the event.
