3¾⭐It wasn‘t like I didn‘t have some major issues with this, like a rather unlikeable MC, some inept sleuthing, and a freaking love triangle to name a few. And yet, I still found myself liking it. The action is non-stop and overall it was a crazy fun listen. Jesse Vilinsky isn‘t the best narrator, although she is improving, except when she makes her voice high-pitched is so screechy.

AudiobookingWithLeah @TheAromaofBooks I finally finished my October #doublespin book! 2y

Okay, weird is really working for me right now. I don‘t know what exactly it was about this one that hooked me right from the first chapter, but I loved it! I hope there‘s a sequel coming out because I need more of these characters! 🖤 #Scarathlon2021 #NetGalley #TeamSlaughter #OutstandingOctober #LittenListen #ReadWithUs #BookSpinBingo …. This book was a great mix of humour, action, mystery and a little romance. It reminded me a lot of the TV show Deadly Class. The MC Signal did not fit in with the camp training teen killers at all, so I found ot hilarious. The range of characters was so good, Erik using psychology was my favourite. The ending was intense and I liked that my ship sailed, and how it's left open too, I hope there will be a sequel but🤷‍♀️

Wanted to lover this book. And I did enjoy the ending…but there were too many question left unanswered. And Signal is kind of a wuss and complainer. I didn‘t care for her character traits. I assume there must be a sequel that will tie up loose ends and if so I hope the characters and “plot twists” are better.

BookDragonNotWorm I figured there had to be a sequel planned too when I finished this. 3y
Moonprismpower @BookDragonNotWorm I had hopes this wouldn‘t have a love triangle and possibly Be a bit more gruesome. So… Eric or Javier? 😬🙄😅 also maybe the sequel Signal will shed her Zero kills status! 3y
BookDragonNotWorm Same here! Totally not feeling the the romance angle, though if I had to choose, maybe Team Eric? Was he the worst of the two 'bad' boys? I mean, if you're going to go bad, go bad! And she definitely needs to kill if there's a sequel. If the love interests turned out evil and she had to axe them both, I'd read it! 🪓🔪🪓🔪 3y
