Just picked up this Spanish translation of the tagged book. Couldn‘t resist this edition‘s title: The Library of Rejected Books.

Morinen How difficult is the book, do you think? I've been looking for a book to pick up to help my rusty Spanish but I've been unable to find anything interesting and also not tremendously hard. (I'm willing to spend a bunch of time with a dictionary.) 5y

Nothing spectacular but the writing flows, and it's a very sweet and entertaining mystery/love story. It was a nice break from the other heavier things I've been reading.

(You can probably tell from my French how long it's been... ) Perhaps Le Petit Nicolas for me. 😉 8y
mllemay @Caryl No your French looks great!! This was really cute and light, both in plot and in writing, I'm sure you'd find it manageable :) But Le Petit Nicolas is fun too lol 8y
MrBook Darn. My French is rusty. 8y

MrBook Indubitably! I listen to a lot of French standards and jazz. Love me some Spotify. 8y
mllemay @MrBook ooh yes, so many great French oldies ðŸ‘🻠8y
Caryl @mllemay - I just worked my way through the description. I did it, I got it! I really should read more in French, and listen to more French songs, too! 8y
mllemay @Caryl yay!!! Yes you should! And don't hesitate to share when you find some good things :) 8y
MrBook You'll be happy you did @Caryl . French is so aesthetically pleasing. 8y
Beckys_Books Sometimes you just need to read something light. I'm in that mood now. 8y
