Still cannot get myself to stick with The Scorpio Races, so I am reading the Essential Bordertown, one of the last books in the incredible shared world anthology put together by Terri Windling.
How could I not love stories about runaway punk elves and teens?

I‘m feeling such a need to read older Bordertown stories but to get the original three anthologies I‘d have to drop a little under $90. Is that ridiculous? Gosh I‘m tempted. They‘ve been out of print forever and I‘ve been watching them basically since online bookselling was a thing. The price remains the same. 😭

Bordertown is where Faerie and the real world overlap, both magic & tech have bad wifi signals, and runaways from both worlds go to find (or lose) themselves. The photo is of old 90s editions not on Litsy but were the start of this very all-night clubs, rock&roll magical land. Amazing authors contribute and a few novels resulted as well. Now I need to re-read...
