Lobsters | Tom Ellen, Lucy Ivison
4 posts | 5 read | 6 to read
Sam and Hannah only have the holidays to find 'The One'. Their lobster. But instead of being epic, their summer is looking awkward. They must navigate social misunderstandings, the plotting of well-meaning friends, and their own fears of being virgins for ever to find happiness. But fate is at work to bring them together. And in the end, it all boils down to love.

One of the funniest, most warm-hearted books I've ever read - it's been months and I still keep remembering bits and laughing! It's about a boy and a girl who like each other but are too shy and daft to admit it outright, and their friends who keep getting in the way. #UKYA #YA #comedy #funny #litsyforandroid #tomellen #lucyivison

This scene from Lobsters (titled A Totally Awkward Love Story in the US) made me lol. Happy Cursed Child weekend, Potheads! ⚡️ #HarryPotter

This was such a perfect summer read. Two teens, male AND female, are trying to lose their virginities before leaving for college -- if they get in. They're waiting to hear about their exam results, as if being the only virgins in their respective groups wasn't stressful enough. It was fun + sweet.
