While I've impressed the importance of recycling, not being wasteful & treating our world with respect on my daughter since she was old enough to understand, I've sheltered her from the whole sorry & scary situation to a certain extent. Now she's able to understand and cope with the information emotionally if introduced gently and age appropriately. Which this book does. Lots of excellent talking points & empowering advice.

This is well done. The art is good, and the story is well written, clear and simple. I like the blend of action and hope. I think it will make a great gift for the little one I'm giving it to for Xmas! (yes I read it first, shh don't tell)

So. Many. Lovely. Books! One of the things I miss the most due to my illness is wandering around the shopping centre just browsing. Especially in bookstores.
