This TL children‘s book is a great book for a class RL. Growing up this was one of my favorite traditional literature books, I would always have my grandmother read it to me. This book contains pop-ups through providing a true visual of the text. I would use this text as a storytelling or it could be use through a RA. for grade levels k-2. #ucflae3414f19

Erinehart A UDL strategy that I would use for this text is 7.3 “minimize threats and distractions.” Since there are already pop-up throughout the text it is important that the students are paying attention. (edited) 5y
Erinehart An ESOL strategy that I found would work best with this text and RA would be #17 “Provide contextual support through audio visuals, models, demonstrations, realia, body language and facial expressions“. Since there is only 4 pages to the story that means that there is a decent amount of text. By providing visuals, models, and demonstrations, the students will be able to get a better understanding. 4y
