As always this was a well written beginning biography. I love that the series is branching out to names not well known by all such as Zaha Hadid a famous architect who passed away just a few years ago. As always I love the pictures in the back of the real person, and just wish that in this case, they had added a few real pictures of her buildings as well.

"She was the first woman and the first Muslim to be awarded the Pritzker Prize, architecture's highest honor."

I had never heard of Zaha Hadid until this book, but hers is a story to be told. Once again, Little People, Big Dreams proves to be informative for both children and adults.

I‘m obsessed with this (new to me) series of children‘s biographies! Most focus on females, though the author is coming out w/ more male bios. Mary Shelley was my 1st bc I love her life story, & then I read this one about Zaha Hadid. I had no previous knowledge of this architect, but so happy to now know her story! Def. check out this series if you are looking for a children‘s biography book appropriate for all ages! “Little People, Big Dreamsâ€
