A dark, shocking and relentlessly gripping thriller that will keep you up all night, for fans of M.J. Arlidge and Peter James. 'Sara! Remember! Victoria and Albert. All I can say. They're here. They're-' These are the last words Sara Prior will ever hear from her husband. As DS Nathan Cody struggles to make sense of the enigmatic message and solve the brutal murder, it soon becomes clear that Sara is no ordinary bereaved wife. Taking the investigation into her own hands, Sara is drawn into a world of violence that will lead her in a direction she would never have suspected. For Cody, meanwhile, things are about to get personal in the darkest and most twisted ways imaginable . . . Praise for DON'T MAKE A SOUND 'Incredibly chilling. A contender for THRILLER OF THE YEAR' Fiona Cummins, bestselling author of Rattle 'A FAST-PACED and DARKLY DISTURBING thriller' Clare Mackintosh, bestselling author of Let Me Lie and I See You 'A MIND-BLOWING, HEAD-RATTLING, whirlwind of a thriller. David Jackson went D-A-R-K in this installment. I‘m not a big scaredy cat but this freaked me right the hell out. Probably my own fault for making it my “before bed” book. 😬 Another series up to date! ✅

TrishB A great read 👍🏻 4y
MicheleinPhilly @TrishB If I see a clown, I‘m going Rocky Balboa on it. 4y

Great read - best in the series so far. Cody has his very own Jigsaw haunting him....this is a great detective series @MicheleinPhilly are you onto it? 😁
The ending in this one 😱

MicheleinPhilly They are on my “UK reader” as I call my iPad. Haven‘t started it yet though. 5y
TrishB @MicheleinPhilly you‘ll love them when you get to them 👍🏻 5y
MicheleinPhilly Maybe I should start it. I‘ve been in a horrible slump and haven‘t read a word since Saturday. 😩 5y

#lunchtimeread no picture of lunch because its very unhealthy! Carbs are needed.
This is a great read 👍🏻

quietlycuriouskate That cover creeps me out! (I'm craving carbs, too. I think it's because I'm not getting much sleep in this heat.) 5y
Cathythoughts Looking forward to your review 👍🏻 5y

Just brilliant! The latest book in the Nathan Cody series and I just loved it 😍 The fact it's set in my hometown of Liverpool makes it even better👍🏻
That ending though 😯

When you get bored of waiting for the library to give you the copy of a book you reserved in May so have to buy it as it was on your July #tbr list. So happy 😊 Book 4 in the Cody series and 1/4 of the way through it already👍🏻 #liverpoolauthors

I would give this a 3.5/5. I read Don‘t Make a Sound by David Jackson and I really enjoyed this but it was not as good. There was just something missing. It was written well and kept me interested. The book didn‘t get boring at any point and kept me interested. The way the story ended was good. It has provided a resolution to this story but left the back story open for more books to follow. I will definitely read more by this author.
