I have mixed feelings about this book starting with the MC, who dislikes bookstores and doesn‘t have time to read. Nope, I cannot relate.

Okay so I loved the emphasis on the use of religion to control women with claims of witchcraft! I need to see more of the magic used like at the end cause...there's gotta be a BIG battle by the end of this trilogy and I am SO EXCITED FOR THAT! I also appreciated the sibling struggle cause...as someone with 3 siblings...we don't all sing cumbia 24/7/365
pickGreat start to this series! Magical witch sisters, love triangle in an alternative past that is a little Handmaid's Tale-esque. Plot is a little thin but I will definitely keep reading. #RogueBookBingo

so-soThis was okay. I thought it would be awesome- 3 sisters destined to be the most powerful and to bring about a new movement of strong and capable witches? Sounds awesome right? Well it was severely lacking in likeable characters.
pickFun world and lots of relatable sisterly conflict. Interested to see what happens next.
