With all good comes an equal share of bad

This was a gift, so I didn't know it was a series when I started it. I really enjoyed it. She jumped around to touch on many different events, but the transitions felt fluid to me. Loved all the action.

A good portion of the book was copy and pasted from the previous 2 books. Edilyn was barely in the book, which is a problem since she was Illarion's "one true love." The book was all over the place. I'm glad I borrowed it from the library instead of buying it.

I was highly disappointed by the fact that this book was more than 50% repeats of previous books. I get that there are overlapping scenes and that's one thing...but to take that many full excerpts from previous books and try to pass it off in a new book is just disrespectful too her readers.

I was disappointed as the second half we already knew about. I would have preferred less of the recap as I didn't need it and more fun at the end.

All of her books are a home run. I can't wait for the next to come out!!!!

Great book, though be prepared for much of it to take place in the past and to move the current story forward only slightly.

Not gonna lie, when I first saw the cover on Goodreads I thought it was lame. After seeing that it's actually holographic I am in love! I also like how it's white and will really pop against all her other books on my shelf.
