Since finishing Colony and The Sinner I‘m in need of a new show to watch. I typically stay away from big network shows and prefer shows with more limited runs and tighter story arch‘s. Love sci-fi and British Crime shows. I‘ve tried the first episode of Shooter and it was better than I thought, fun light action but not totally sold on it yet. Never read the book. Any favorite new shows or recent discoveries? Any book to tv adaptations you like?

MicheleinPhilly Killing Eve, Broadchurch, Whitechapel, 19-2. 6y
Guildedearlobe @MicheleinPhilly Killing Eve was brilliant. Loved Broadchurch, I need to catch up on the other two. My favorite British shows are Line of Duty, Suspects and Happy Valley. Oh and the cancelled Utopia. 6y
MicheleinPhilly Thanks for the suggestions! 6y

LaLecture Have you watched Luther? That‘s one of my favourite British crime shows. “Black Mirror” is creepy but genius too. “The Night Manager”? Didn‘t read the book and apparently it‘s different from the show but I liked the latter. (edited) 6y
Guildedearlobe @LaLecture I have watched Luther and loved it. Black Mirror is great at points and OK at others. The Night Manager was really good. I‘m kinda addicted to British shows. Marcella was also excellent. 6y
Readingismyescape I loved Colony. Have you tried The Expanse? I liked that one (but it‘s not British. 😉 6y
Guildedearlobe @Readingismyescape I love The Expanse show and the books. Probably my favorite sci-fi show since BSG. I also really love 12 Monkeys and am excited for the new season of The Killjoys but I‘ll probably wait for the whole season to air then binge it. 6y
MommyWantsToReadHerBook @Guildedearlobe have you seen The Honourable Woman? 6y
Guildedearlobe @MommyWantsToReadHerBook I have, it was really good. I hope the do another season. 6y
MommyWantsToReadHerBook @Guildedearlobe I don't think they're going to 😢 I don't have other recommendations I think then, maybe Cambridge Spies? 6y
OwenBanner I can‘t believe they cancelled Utopia. That was one of the best. Old favorite but True Detective the first season, Hannibal, Altered Carbon had a solid start, Narcos, and The Night Of. 6y
