This book almost made me happy cry. It was just so lovely. It‘s not your typical christmas book at all. It‘s a little lengthy and verbose, but the story of Red and his want of a Tweed bicycle is such a lovely story, that may or may not be based on truth. I loved every minute of it and will be seeking a copy for my permanent collection.

marleed I love this book. I can‘t wait to read it to my grandson! 3y

This is one of my favorite Christmas books, one I've gifted to friends. It's "a bittersweet story about faith and belonging that weaves within it a bicycle, an old stranger, and a young boy who can't afford to believe." It's a retelling of a story that was told to the author each Christmas Eve of his childhood. It's wordy, so not for the super young, but the illustrations are whimsical and gorgeous. #christmassyreads #seasonsreadings2016 #day22

This is a cute Christmas story. Red Ranger does not believe in Santa Claus but when he comes across an old man rumored to be Santa himself he finds himself asking for his heart's desire. The result is unexpected.

Great, under-rated children's book (for children of all ages, of course)! 🙂👍🏼
