I got my own book back after a year of it traveling to each of the members of our #CovertoCover group! I loved reading all of the notes in the book and the journal with a delicious cup of tea. 📖 ☕️ (Thanks, Annie; I‘m looking forward to trying the different varieties!)

pickJennifer Brown has a way with the details .. and she shows yet again in Torn Away that these details make for an amazing and heart-breaking story! There are many parts of this book that i will add to my quote book!
Recommend for anyone for who needs a reminder that there will always be someone who may have it worse .. and even they can see the bright side :)

My Christmas book haul from my wonderful family! I actually got 2 copies of Pioneer Girl and there's also a bookstore gift card! Most of the rest of these are books I've read but don't own and requested from my family to add to my class library. Torn Away is a great contemporary YA about the consequences of a midwestern tornado by a Missouri author.
