xicanti @TobeyTheScavengerMonk yep, that's the one. A samurai bargains 48 of his kid's body parts away to 48 demons, and when the kid gets old enough he travels around winning them back. 5y

TobeyTheScavengerMonk I watched a live action version of Dororo a few years ago, vaguely aware that it was based on a manga. Didn‘t realize it was by Tezuka though. Rintaro‘s movie adaptation of Tezuka‘s Metropolis is a favorite. 5y
