Athena: Grey-Eyed Goddess
Athena: Grey-Eyed Goddess | George O'Connor
9 posts | 8 read | 5 to read
Boom! Pow! Crash! Greek Gods as you've never seen them before! The strong, larger-than-life heroes of the Olympians can summon lightning, control the sea, turn invisible, or transform themselves into any animal they choose. Superheroes? No! Greek gods. The ancient pantheon comes to explosive life in this new series where myth meets comic books. Epic battles, daring quests, and terrible monsters await readers within the pages of these books. Volume 2, Athena: Grey-Eyed Goddess, is the tale of the goddess of wisdom and war, recounting her many adventures.

The story of Athena and how she helped defeat the gigantes, how she cursed Medusa and Arachne for daring disrespect her. Always respect Athena.

+6 point #TeamStoker
@TheReadingMermaid

BeansPage Sweetie this one looks like it would be an 11 pointer. Monsters and everything... 5y
jessinikkip @TheReadingMermaid yes, it did have a large focus on the mo sters she faced and Medusa and Arachne, so I guess it would. I think I started getting on a 6 point roll there and just kept going 5y

I am loving this series of graphic novels, telling the story of the Greek gods.

Includes Arachne, Medusa, Athena‘s origin story (not in that order). Very well done.

5⭐️Oh my goodness another great find on Scribd! A middle grade friendly graphic novel series of the Greek Gods. In the Back after the stories of Athena, it gives information like above to the various characters in her stories. Definitely going to order these for our Library!

Chelleo @SpeculativeFemale ... Really? Wonder if it‘s a Midwest thing? 6y
SpeculativeFemale @Chelleo It's possible. Now I wish I would have asked where people live so I could see if there's a dialect pattern involved! 6y

#LibraryStory time! The library had inadvertently classified this series as non-fiction 😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I wonder how many impressionable readers now think this sort of stuff actually happened 😆. #LitsyLovesLibraries #LitsyHumor

Going old school for my #dysfunctionalfamily pick - The Olympians! There are only 7 books so far in this series which is why you're not getting the full complement of 12 Greek gods today. (Artemis arrives in January-woo hoo!) Please draw faster, George O'Connor! #dysfunctionalfamilies #photoadaynov16
