Asking me to pick a favorite bookstore is like asking me to pick my favorite book—it‘s too hard! 😆 Out of all the bookstores I love, I‘ll give Borderlands Books in San Francisco, CA a slight edge because it‘s all fantasy, SciFi, & horror. I could have spent my entire San Fran trip in this shop. 📚📚📚

Borderlands Books | San Francisco, CA (Bookstore)

I‘ve been quiet here again. Breast cancer diagnosis. My prognosis is good. Taking an 11 day car camping trip down through Oregon and NoCal. Hit the wonderful Sci-fi/horror Borderlands bookstore in Haight-Ashbury. Got Black Sun used-have been wanting to read forever. This Thing Between Us I know nothing about but the employee is obsessed w/ The Only Good Indians by SGJ so I‘m thinking I might like his recommendation! Now on to City Lights!

Next I walked up to the Mission District and went to Dog Eared Books (but wasn‘t feeling it). Half a block down is Borderlands Books, which is my new fave bookstore because it‘s all SciFi, fantasy, & horror. Plus it just feels like what a bookstore should be. I would‘ve gotten more but jet lag is catching up with some. So I plan to go back before I leave on Saturday.
