Have you ever wished you could have a dream be a book? If yes, Pinkwater may be for you! His writing is absolute nonsense that rambles around a loose plot yet somehow never fails to make me laugh. This book may also appeal to you if you: love avocados, have ever known a mad scientist, think high school is biggest waste of time ever, ever used to sneak out of the house, or wish you had a 24hr movie theater in your neighborhood.

Finally got together my list for #ReadYourSign!! I am going for 10 books. Three of these are technically on my #BookSpinBonanza list so I "might" get to them before the end of the month and need to replace them...but I doubt it ?

Well here is my #BookSpinBonanza list (subject to change, naturally!) - for this challenge I am mostly sticking to rereads, with a few "assigned" books that I want to read in May. A lot of children's books - most of these I haven't read in over 10 years, so I am looking forward to a lot of nostalgia in May!! As an added challenge, the highlighted titles have at least one sequel (some have more) that I want to read when I read that book - so we ⬇️

As an added note, just a reminder that you do NOT have to even try to read all 20 books in order to participate in May's #BookSpin!! I'll be drawing the first two numbers separately as always. The full Bonanza challenge is even more optional than regular #BookSpin - just for those who are looking for something a little more crazy. I suppose I should post my own #bookspin list!!

Books 1-10 are on my "new arrivals" shelf (although some of them have been there over a year ?) and books 11-20 are old favorites I have really been wanting to reread, including the tagged book that I may just reread this month no matter what because it is SO funny.

I will draw the numbers Thursday, so plenty of time if you still want to post a list!!
