I'm normally sceptical of authors who write historical mysteries in more than one period but Gardner does an excellent job in her Roman, Regency, and Late Victorian settings.

Texreader @GingerAntics I agree! I‘m pretty well-trained now but I used to forget and miss the opportunity. It was a real bummer when I went overseas and couldn‘t get them. I didn‘t even look at the emails when I got home because I didn‘t want to know what I missed 4y
