Accomplished my chapter goal easily (20 in 4 days), didn't quite make the 4 finished books. I'm 3 chapters off from finishing The Secret History, 300+ pages.
I'd completely overlooked how long this book is 🙈

Plenty of reading time and chapters to fill #Scarathalon #TeamSlaughter prompts. Just need to do the math ready for posting tomorrow

I still have my childhood copy of these beloved stories. I'm eternally grateful to Joan Aiken for igniting my lifelong love of fairy and folktales. Jan Pieńkowski's illustrations captivated me too.
