Pickpick

Rounding up a so-so, this penultimate installment in the Cat Who series contains a year of surprises, which is capped off with a “bombshell.” In the plus column, reference is made to Jerome K Jerome and 3 Men in a Boat, which I loved and will have to reread soon. In the minus column, Braun rather summarily does away with long standing characters, inexplicably with very little ceremony.

Librarybelle I read one of the older books in this series many years ago…I should probably try this series again at some point. A modern classic series! 1y
mabell @Librarybelle I‘d say my favorites are from the middle of the series. They really are modern classics! 1y

I don't have a cat and I'm a day late, but I did find some awesome cat shoes while searching for books at the thrift store last night. #internationalcatday
