Pretty Revenge

pick

An engaging story about getting revenge on someone who you believe wronged you. The narration was performed to perfection, the writing was captivating and the characters were perfect in their roles. My only issue with this story overall is Olivia comes off as someone who is motivated, smart, and likable, so much so it's difficult to believe that she couldn't have gotten her life on track before she went down the revenge path.

This was just okay for me. It moved quickly and I was invested in the story but it felt like it took way too long to learn what the plot was really centered around and why things were happening. The ending felt rushed and a bit idyllic and the characters were all pretty unlikable. It kept my interest, but I didn‘t love it.

I am between a pick and a so-so for this one.. 🤔 I did like the writing and the story itself, and it has a nice, happy ending, but it felt more cutesy at times than thriller. Still a good read though, so a pick! I guess just not dark enough for me 😂.

Revenge can be all consuming, and once Kerrie saw Jordana on the news, she decided to move to New York and take back what Jordana took from her all those years ago.

FULL REVIEW JULY 2.

Revenge can be all consuming, and once Kerrie saw Jordana on the news, she decided to move to New York and take back what Jordana took from her all those years ago.

It took a chapter or two to get me hooked, but PRETTY REVENGE was an enjoyable read despite what I thought was a sinister-sounding title and cover.

This book actually was on the delightful side.5/5
