I read this book to help me with the book/series I‘m writing since it‘s an ensemble piece of how a girl‘s teen pregnancy not only effects her, but her group of friends, & something similar happens in my book, (aside from the whole part of my book taking place in Post Trojan War Greece 😂). I‘m shocked by the low reviews. A quick read, but poignant. Love how the “adult” situation is juxtaposed with imagery of their childhood. Stunning, really.

These dudes, and the way they remind me of the simple joys of childhood, are my favourites. I encourage everyone who can to play on a swing set at the earliest opportunity, it is joyful.
