No Good Tea Goes Unpunished
No Good Tea Goes Unpunished | Bree Baker
5 posts | 8 read | 4 to read
Don't marry into murder... Catering her childhood friend's beachfront wedding was a dream come true for Everly Swanand, with hundreds of guests in attendance, great exposure for her new iced tea shop and caf. But when the well-to-do groom is found floating facedown in the surf, the locals of Charm, North Carolina, turn their suspicions to his new bride. Could she have been so desperate to lay her hands on his fortune that she arranged for his murder before they even set off on their honeymoon? Everly knows her love-struck friend couldn't be behind the murder, but with clues pointing in several directions, she can't decide which wedding guest is the most likely culprit. Meanwhile, the frustratingly handsome Detective Hays has made it clear that Everly should stay out of the investigation altogether. But with a killer on the loose and a feeling that someone is watching her caf very closely, Everly knows that if she can't solve this murder soon, her cake might be iced for good. The second book in Bree Baker's popular Seaside Caf Mystery series, No Good Tea Goes Unpunished is a delightfully deadly cozy mystery perfect for fans of Joanne Fluke and Kate Carlisle.

Book 4 #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner I started this book last year but never finished it so a started it from the beginning and finished it this time. This series always makes me crave cucumber sandwiches and sweet peach tea. This book is good enough to be made into a movie.

Librarybelle I own this series but haven‘t had a chance to start it yet! 4y
ferskner YES I also have cucumber sandwiches right now! 4y

A new read, iced tea, and hickory farms = perfect afternoon break. I may have bribed my dogs with new bones so they won‘t beg me for my hickory farms and I can read in peace. And I may have put mustard on the crackers so my kids don‘t beg me to share too.

rretzler That reminds me of the time many years ago when we had Hickory Farms on a plate with crackers on our counter. I stepped out of the room for a minute and when I came back, one of our cats was on the counter with a huge slice of beef summer sausage in his mouth. He took a look at me and ran away with the slice in his mouth, growling the whole time! It was like he was telling me that there was no way I was going to take away his sausage 🤣 5y

A great sequel in the Seaside Cafe Mystery series. Everly Swan hosts a wedding reception for her childhood friend. Swan's local tea shop is once again the scene of a murder. She now has to help find the murderer among a crowd of out of town guests, a noisy reporter, and a shady business partner. Baker does not disappoint and I can't wait to read the next book! #arc #NetGalley
