We did a family roadtrip and took the kids to see Lecrae and Andy Mineo in concert last night. It was their first concert and it was awesome. We danced and sang along for 4 hours. If you love rap music check these guys out! My son also loves Lacrae's book. He has read it more than once!

I enjoyed this quick read! A look at Lecrae's life and the decisions he made to get to where he is. His recent evolution to talk about theology less in his music was especially interesting.

This book was an accidental discovery and I couldn't stop listening to it. I actually want to purchase a copy of my own. I know that I will re-read/listen to this book again and again.

Talk about a great testimony!! I highly recommend this book.

Lacrae started out at the bottom - no father, uncles who were gangstas. The early years were as bad as you can imagine. However, something changed for Lacrae - and this is that story.
