Have chosen to not finish this book, it‘s better as a shelf ornament to be honest!

Not the first time I have felt the Abe,ism oozing from this book. In all honesty I‘m thinking of just panning it.

Meditation and visualisation are not something everyone can do, for many people who are autistic, for those with adhd...it‘s not going to be something that can be done. For some it will be easy, but for others it will not happen. Does that make these people less a witch or lazy (which the way she words it makes it sound) not at all.

effani That's too bad. I hate how much problematic stuff is in some of these books. 😔 4y
Darklunarose @effani I agree...between transphobia, racism and ableism you never know what you get 4y
Darklunarose @effani if you have any suggestions for good pagan books please let me know 🙂 4y

dylanisreading As someone with ADHD, I feel that difficulty a lot. 4y
effani @Darklunarose Honestly I haven't been doing a lot of reading on the topic in the past several years. I really like T. Thorn Coyle's work and I think she is generally good about being mindful of social justice issues. I also have the tagged book, although I haven't read more than the first chapter or so yet. It's definitely interesting but I'm not sure if it's going to affect my practice. 4y
Darklunarose @Bianca it would be very hard. I am diagnosed autistic, and probably also adhd.....I can not still my mind...it‘s near impossible. 4y
Darklunarose @effani that books is damn amazing! I read it I think beginning of last year. I loved her 5:fold idea rather then the three fold idea we use now. 4y

Yesterday we went for a seriously long drive to Orrorro to see magnetic Hill and try and find a branch for a project in the book. No branch was found but much beauty and fun was discovered.

Spent today out and about in the arms of mother nature. This is the pink Lake at Yorketown

Freespirit Gorgeous place!! 4y
Darklunarose @Freespirit it really is. I had not been there before, the only think I would change is the wind...it was so strong you couldn‘t walk against it! And it made it hard to open the car door! And near the ocean kid 1 and I had Marilyn Monroe moments with out tops lol! Next time I‘ll check the wind predictions! 4y
tpixie @Darklunarose lol the wrong story! Gorgeous lake! 4y

I seem to like the witchy reads at bedtime. This is my newest. (Thank you @Litsy for the info on how to add a book to the database. 👍🏻) #witchyreads
