pickI‘ve been reading a lot of the ‘newer‘ SVH books, but had forgotten this super thriller along the way. The story starts out on a funny note, with Jessica getting to eavesdrop on others in her building when the phone lines get messed up. Things quickly get creepy when a girl washes up on the beach. How will the Wakefield‘s figure this out before they‘re next?!? 😱
pickI‘m on my next to last SVH book before the series underwent a major overhaul ala the Jungle Prom and the Evil Twin! Here it‘s about the 10th summer while the twins are 16 and they are again interning at the Sweet Valley News. The phone lines get crossed due to construction. Jessica overhears some hilarious conversations, then it takes a dark turn when she overhears a drug deal and a murder plot. A girl‘s body washes up on the beach the next day.⬇️
