“Three Japanese Short Stories” is a tiny collection of short stories that won‘t take you long to read. For me they were just okay and nothing to shout home about – 2 stars for now.

My full review is up on my blog now 📚

Pickpick

Finally read this little gem! Thanks @Caroline2 for including this in the #blinddatebookswap☺️

Not my usual fare, but fascinating to read. The stories are somewhat somber, the first two about people who have in one way or another retreated from the world.
The final one is my favourite, it reads like a summary of a myth and illustrates how myths can be created when history gets embellished.

Caroline2 I‘m glad you liked it. 👍 5y
